In 2008, ELENTURE's founder, Joy, was a newly-graduated student and a passionate yoga enthusiast. Hailing from a financially-constrained family, she worked hard to buy herself a yoga bag, only to find it wore out quickly. Years later, in 2014, she acquired a well-known brand's yoga bag, which was comfortable and long-lasting but also expensive. Inspired by this experience, Joy spent the next couple of years learning bag design and in 2016, she founded ELENTURE, creating a series of fashionable and portable yoga bags that were both simple and durable, like elves in the forest.
